SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Program Development Manager responsible for the development of new business contacts and maintaining and improving relationships with existing clients. Project Manager, Project Engineer, Discipline Supervisor and Lead Discipline Engineer for conceptual, preliminary and final designs of repowering and combined cycle cogeneration projects for major IPP/Cogeneration developers and private utilities.

As project manager participated with other business managers in regional business plan development.  Scheduled meetings with clients and made presentations on organizational interests and capabilities.  Prepared and made presentations to clients for new projects.  Met with clients to identify projects in capital budgets.  Assisted in the development of project financial models (pro-forma) for both US and Canadian developers.  Attended meetings with project owners and provided technical advice on conceptual plant design and major equipment selection.

Supervised the preparation of project heat balances, CTG performance models, HRSG performance models, system flow diagrams, site and plant arrangements, and capital cost estimates.  IPP design work has included the preliminary selection of combustion turbine-generator suppliers and identification of interface points with the host facility steam, feedwater and computer control systems.  Provided engineering coordination with the interconnecting electric utility engineering staff and the host facility engineering staff.  Project locations have included utility generating stations, oil refineries, pulp and paper mills, and chemical plants.
