PROFESSIONAL MASTER'S IN
ENERGY SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

All Lehigh graduate degrees are granted by academic departments, so graduate students interested in energy complement their degree programs with a selection of special energy-related courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.  Students pursue their graduate research in energy areas under the supervision of faculty from the Energy Research Center or from Lehigh research centers or academic departments.

Lehigh's energy research program is funded by grants and contracts from government agencies and industrial organizations.  Research assistantships, fellowships and teaching assistantships are available for graduate student support.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

There are several options for undergraduate students who wish to participate in energy research at Lehigh through special courses and projects carried out during the academic year or as senior theses. Each project of this type is unique and is coordinated with a faculty mentor from the student’s home department.

During the summer months, the ERC sponsors Energy Research Internships for undergraduates.  In addition, faculty-led sponsored research frequently provide opportunities for undergraduate students to work as project assistants.
