Woodwind

Wind instruments get their sound from the vibration of air inside a length of tubing. Depending on the type, a player would either blow through a narrow hole in the instrument (flute), blow into a mouthpiece causing a reeds to vibrate (bassoon), or create a buzzing movement with the lips (trumpet).
