Attendance 
This course actually places much more responsibility on you than simply showing up in a classroom three days a week. You will be expected to participate regularly and thoughtfully in our online discussions.  You can think of the class as an ongoing seminar discussion. 

For each reading, you will be: sending me an email summarizing the main point of the reading; responding to the reading in our online discussion area; responding to the postings of your classmates in our discussion area.
