Summer 2013 REU Program (IMI and Physics)

Move In Day & Pizza Party - Tuesday May 28, 2013

Pizza Party: 6:30 pm
Location: ground floor dining area of Delta Gamma

REU Summer Picnic - Saturday June 1, 2013

REU Summer Picnic: starting at 2:00pm
Rain date: Sunday, June 2 (check announcements on Physics Dept website)

Bring side dish to share - hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks will be provided.
You are welcome to bring along any sport equipment, kites ... to use.

Organized Trips

A number of organized trips will be offered to the REU students during the program. These include the following events. Other events may be announced through out the course of the REU Program

• June 11-15: South Side Film Festival (ticket for one of the events)
• June 18: REU Cooking Lesson with Ginny McSwain
• July 2: Baseball Game at Coca Cola Park - Home of local Minor League Team - Iron Pigs
• July 13: Roller Derby
• July 27: White Water Rafting (see below)

White Water Rafting - Lehigh River, Jim Thorpe (Poconos)

	All day activity: July 27, 2013 DEPOSIT of $20 due by July 10 to secure a place. Cash or check (payable to Lehigh University).
