I am a 1980 graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Computer Science.
I maintain the web pages for and manage the vse-l mailing list, a discussion list for systems programmers and other professionals who work with the VSE operating system. Jim Eshleman & I created vse-l in 1987. A truely international discussion list, vse-l has an estimated readership of 1,400 and from over 50 countries.
Up until 2001 I served with a great bunch of people in the WAVV (World Alliance of VSE and VM) user/conference group in several capacities, including developing their first web pages and managing the bug/enhancements requirements process. I still manage their discussion list.
WAVV grew out of the collasal IBM user group GUIDE, where I co-managed the "VSE Application Development" project of the GUIDE user group with Larry Holder and others.
