Lehigh Valley Math & Stat Day 2022!
Are you interested in mathematics, statistics and related fields and currently (or considering) pursuing a degree in these fields? Do you find limited peers to talk to in your home institute? Do you have questions about curriculum planning, graduate school applications, finding research oppotunities, and/or job seeking?
We are organizing an event for undergraduate students in the Lehigh Valley area, who are interested in mathematics, statistics and related fields (broadly defined). The event aims at promoting and enhancing intercations among students in local colleges as well as providing guidance to their career development.
This event is supported by the National Science Foundation (DMS-2137614).
Main activities
- Alumni Presentations
We invited students who recently graduated from the Lehigh Valley area to share their experience in college, their life as graduate students and/or on the job market.
The topics of the presentations include:

- Career panel discussions
The panel discussion will be led by faculty members and alumni presenters. By sharing their own experience and answering questions of the participants, panelists will discuss and provide advice on various aspects of career planning, such as academic preparation, strategies in job seeking, gaining research experiencei, life in graduate school, etc.

Registration is closed! Please register before May 4 (Wednesday).
How To Participate?
- The entire event will be broadcasted online via Zoom in real time.
The zoom link will be emailed to registered participants.
- Room 218 in Chandler-Ullman Hall at Lehigh University (Map).
A group zoom will be connected from the room so that you can simultaneously
interact with both in person and remote participants.
Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
