This is Wagram Circle, about a mile from our hotel. We passed it just about every day since it was on our general walking route. There are lots of these circles, where up to six streets radiate out from it.  Crossing from street to street requires good eyes, a little daring, and sometimes fast legs. For the most part, motorists were considerate. I almost never saw someone running a red light.
