We much preferred the Musee d'Orsay to the Louvre. It's just the right size, easy to navigate and is chock-full of the best Impressionist paintings anywhere. It's also where I got the scrumptuous ice cream, where we took nice pictures of the Seine River from its terrace, and where we ran into the strangest man wearing what looked like hospital-wear going on and on about a naked woman sculpture in this lobby. We half-wondered whether he was an escapee from somewhere, but you know, he might have very well been just a great lover of art. We left him alone.
