The apartment complex across the street from our hotel.  Simple flowers dress up so many buildings in Paris.  A couple hot and humid nights, people would sit outside on those tiny balconies. With their windows wide open to get air, you could see everyone walking around doing their things.  It felt so "Rear Window."
