engineering services for fossil fuel-fired and renewable energy projects.
Manager
of Research Program Development and Director, Energy Liaison Program for the
Lehigh University Energy Research Center. Responsible for developing business
with new and existing clients. Maintains contact with over 2000 managers and
engineers at more than 50 utility and industrial companies in the energy
industry. Develops approximately $500K-$700K/year in new projects. Responsible
for developing and managing utility and industrial participants in the Energy
Liaison Program (ELP). Increased program membership from 9 to 14 companies in
one year.
Manager
of Engineering at the Ebasco Atlanta, GA office with six direct report managers
and over 200 engineers and designers involved in cogeneration, repowering and
retrofit engineering in the Southeast and Southwest US. Revenue responsibility
for over $19M with an operating budget of over $17M. Responsible for the
preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and staff forecasts. Made
recommendations on bid/no-bid decisions for new work to the Regional
Manager-Region II Engineering. Responsible for the preparation of workhour estimates for all fossil engineering work done in
Ebasco Region II. Participate in project pricing meetings and jointly approve
final pricing for all fossil engineering work performed in Ebasco Region II.
Manager
of the Mechanical and Process Engineering Department at the Ebasco Bellevue, WA
office. Responsible for the staffing and work assignments for sixteen mechanical
engineers and five mechanical designers. Responsible for developing and
maintaining client contacts for new and follow-on work for the Thermal Projects
Group. Proposal sponsor for new work in the thermal projects area. As Proposal
Sponsor, responsible for the preparation of project work scopes, schedules and
costs. Project Manager or Project Engineer for cogeneration and industrial
projects engineering services priced from $20,000 up to $1,000,000.
