I am honored to serve as President of the Accounting Club for the 2024-2025 academic year at Lehigh. I am currently a junior pursuing a double major in Accounting and Finance seeking to utilize my critical thinking skills in order to make a positive impact on the Lehigh accounting community and for the greater good of our economy and society.
The Accounting Club provides students within the College of Business and Economics not only an understanding of the Accounting major itself, but also resources to succeed in the Accounting profession. These include firm visits, information sessions, and other valuable networking opportunities. Some of the companies that we will be working with this year include Deloitte, EY, PwC, Crowe, and KPMG.
The following are the goals we established for the club this academic year:

To facilitate two trips to visit firms during the Fall semester; one to New York City and the other to Philadelphia

To develop our presence on campus through the use of social media, podcasts, and other mediums

To create a stronger sense of community within the Accounting Club and form connections through networking

To collaborate with other accounting/business organizations on campus such as Beta Alpha Psi

Launch our new website and facilitate fundraising efforts to support our first overnight trip to Washington D.C. in 2025
This and more will be made possible with the efforts of our new E-board: Rolando Mendez (Vice President), William Geiger (Treasurer), Livi Mielke (Editor-in-Chief), Adil Alybaev (Marketing Director), Carisa Fogt (Technology Director), and Alec Eskin (Multi-Media Director). In addition to my team, Professor Manzo, the Accounting Club Advisor for the past fourteen years, will provide us the expertise needed to truly make the club flourish.
