On October 17th, our club embarked on its second trip of the academic year, visiting the offices of Deloitte and EY in New York City. The day was packed with learning, networking, and some fun stops along the way!
The visit to EY kicked off with a breakfast and a panel discussion, where we gained valuable insights into the recruitment process. After the panel, we broke into smaller groups for networking, where professionals from different service lines shared their experiences. The visit also included a tour of the EY office, giving us a firsthand look at their vibrant professional environment.
Next, we headed over to Deloitte, where the day continued with service-line-specific breakout rooms, allowing us to dive deeper into areas of interest. The office tour there was followed by a fun Ben & Jerry's ice cream social, where we had a chance to chat in a more relaxed setting.
In between the two office visits, we stopped at John's Pizza for lunch, enjoying not only pizza but also salad and brownies. It was a perfect break to recharge, share laughs, and bond with fellow club members.
