Brianna also emphasized the importance of being well-prepared for interviews. "Completing a mock interview is a great way to practice your interview skills and elevator pitch," she explained. To get the most out of this practice, Brianna recommended giving a friend a list of behavioral questions, simulating the types of questions you'll likely encounter in real interviews. This practice can help you feel more confident and articulate when it comes time for the actual interview.
3. Stay Organized with Application Deadlines
Keeping track of application dates is another crucial aspect of the process. Brianna advised, "List out application opening dates and deadlines for all roles you want to apply for." This simple step ensures that you don't miss any important deadlines, helping you stay on top of the process and submit your applications on time.
4. Engage in Recruiting Events
Finally, Brianna highlighted the value of attending recruiting events. "Register for recruiting events for the companies you are excited about," she said. These events provide an excellent opportunity to network, mingle, and ask questions, giving you a better feel for the company's culture and the roles they offer. Engaging with recruiters and other professionals at these events can give you valuable insights and help you determine if a company is the right fit for you.
