What exactly does it mean to get a CSB degree from Lehigh?

When you graduate from Lehigh with a Computer Science and Business degree, you earn a joint bachelor of science degree, on from the P.C. Rossin Colllege of Engineering and Applied Science and one from the College of Business and Economics. The degree is dually accredited, too, by AACSB and ABET/CSAB.

Can CSB majors pursue minors in other subject areas?

While the CSB major is already quite full of both business and computer science material, there is still some room for specialization. Students can use their CSB professional electives to develop areas of concentrations or tracks for courses offered with the Engineering or Business colleges. Business concentrations are available in Accounting, Finance, and Business Economics. Computer Science concentrations are available in Corporate IT Development, Graduate School Track and Software Development. In addition, students may develop their own tracks of special interest with their advisors’ approval.

It’s a tough economy out there…how do CSB majors fare in the job market?

The CSB department is proud to say that since the Computer Science and Business program was launched at Lehigh in 2002, CSB has a 100 percent job placement rate. That means that every single student who has graduated from the Lehigh CSB program has found a job or been accepted to a desired graduate program after graduating from Lehigh. And, those CSB graduates have found themselves employed at a variety of pretty impressive places, including Freddie Mac, KPMG, Deutsche Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
