* Legal Days = Maximum time permitted by law, i.e. Chapter 16
** The law specifies school days (i.e days in school). Since most of us live by the "calendar", this column shows the approximate number of calendar days permitted.
*** Once the parent returns the permission to evaluate and the school has received it, the process depends primarily on the school completing the work to meet the legal deadlines.  It is suggested that you write the deadline dates in this column (and the completion dates in the next column) so you have an accurate representation of how well things have or are progressing.
