Transportation for Students
Transportation
The Health and Wellness Center can arrange a taxi ride for students needing transportation to the hospital, specialist appointments or physical therapy. A taxi voucher will be give to the student by the Health Center, this will have the student's name and destination on it.
Arrangements have been made for students to be picked up and dropped off at the Health Center (in Johnson Hall). The student will then be Bursar Billed for the cost of the taxi ride.
If a taxi is called for a student, and the
student fails to be available for pick up at the designated time, that
student will be charged a $10.00 fee.
Another option for students is to rent the WeCar
through Transportation and Parking Services:

medical parking permits
The Health and Wellness Center does not normally issue medical Parking Permits for students.
If a student would need a Medical Parking Permit, that student will have to contact the Parking Services office for a Medical Parking Permit Form. This form will have to be taken to the doctor that diagnosed the student and filled out by that doctor. This form would then have to be returned to Parking Services before a permit is issued.
Crutches and canes
Crutches and Canes are available to be loaned to students when necessary. The student must first see a nurse to determine the extent of the injury. The student will need to sign an equipment release form stating that they are responsible for the equipment being loaned to them and will return said equipment within a reasonable amount of time.
If the equipment is not returned, the student will be emailed and their Bursar Bill will be charged the cost of the item.
