  • Kologie Recognized for Administrative Excellence

    Carla Kologie, the 2025 Hillman Non-Exempt Staff Award recipient, serves as executive assistant to the dean in the College of Education.

    From managing field placements and licensure records to navigating leadership transitions, Carla has consistently demonstrated precision, calm under pressure, and a deep commitment to supporting students, faculty, and staff.

  • McDermott Receives Williams Prize

    Sarah McDermott has received a Williams Prize from Lehigh for outstanding work in writing and performance. Her entry, titled "Adolescents' Gender-Typed Communication Behaviors and Friendship Experiences," was awarded first place in the Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology category for Spring 2025.

  • Wilkins Featured in Phi Delta Kappan

    Brooke Wilkins is an Educational Leadership doctoral student who works as a reading specialist at the Mid Valley Elementary Center. Her article, "Using diagnostic assessments to improve data use," draws on insights and experiences she has gathered in both of these roles.
